10:55pm: Sad News... ;(
This is Alana's mother, passing along what is horrendous news. On Wed 8/11 in College Point, Queens, a terrible freak accident took the lives of our beloved Alana and her boyfriend Joe. The was a terrible thunderstorm and the car they were in stalled out in a huge puddle. Water was coming into the car, stalled out in the street, and Alana and Joe both exited into the water. An electrical power line was either already in the water, or touched it at that time. They were electrocuted and both died there.
They were together when they died. We loved them and miss them tremendously. This was a horrible, horrible thing to happen. Keep them in your hearts. They were wonderful kids taken much too soon.

5:13pm: daisy got into college! yay! means i wont be able to see her anymore =( but im happy for her. i dont know why, but ive felt so bloated recently. im sure everyone wanted to know that.schmoo........

10:35pm: im really tired but i cant sleep for some reason. got a 94 on my math test. got a physics test tommorow hopefully ill pass..

8:14pm: that math test thursday went ok, it was just long, physics test on tuesday hope i pass it. joes sister broke her arm so hes probably going home as soon as liscence is done..cant say that i can blame him but i dont have to be happy about it...

4:39pm: hey all. got a c on my physics test, an 82 on my math test, and another math test tommorow.sound fun right? blah. im thinking of changing my layout, somthing darker to reflect my moods nowadays,but still light. hmm....

10:14am: B on cruise!!
i got a B on cruise! im so happy! and surprised, i didnt think id get anything above a c-. a 6 credit b will do wonders for my GPA.took a math test earlier, i think i did ok on it. i had a really weird dream last night, the whole ship was in this weird living museum, will everything in it. i lost my cloak and i was running around trying to find it. i then accused mate barry of stealing it. weird.. dan has been playing kingdom hearts for the last week at my house, its a cute game,.i think im gonna go to the farmers market on saterday with joe, thatll be nice,..

7:22pm: hey
so classes started yesterdy, same as always but im going to pass physics or someone isgoing to die. mabye several someones. being at home is nice, and i cant figure out what to do with my free time which is also wonderfull. i REALLY need to clean my room. i will eventually. i swear joe was a sloth in a former life. or a bear. or an animal that sleeps a LOT(said joe is sleeping in my bed as i type, hes staying at my house till liscence starts) hes also going back to pitt after that and i dunno how thats gonna go hopefully fine. o well, not gonna spoil a happy mood by worrying...

6:07am: ok, this is going to take a while to do,since i have more bitch work(post-cruise) to do. Part 1 -ports- barcalona was alright, a LOT like new york,a lot of punks,drug dealers, and tourists, a lot of pretty side streets and churchs.joe and i went to the salvador dali museeum and the lights went out 45 minutes after getting there.we dragged ellen cava to the erotica museum which i found very impressive. we decided allison pecks new job is to compose music for black and white porn films made in the 1920s. we didnt go to greece because of the world situation, so we went to copenhagen, denmark instead. it was very expenisve, but everyone was beautiful. we went to an outdorr viking museum and hamlets castle, and a big church with royal tombs. we also went to to the erotica museum there,which wasnt impressive at all. we had to take a detuor to poland to drop the admiral, which had some cute archetecture, good kilbasa and hot dogs, and really nice amber. then, kiel germany, which is a another entry because it was so great. then the bahamas where i got a sunburn, got mugged, and lost 20$ worth of stuff from Atlantis, the conch fritters were good tho. tbc...

2:30pm: im back!
IM BACK EVERYBODY!!!!!!! after barcelona copenhagen germany poland and the bahamas im back! i wasa very intresting cruise and ill talk about it later. joes parents are over and we are about to eat. ill update later i promise

11:57am: joes going on cruise! and yesko says he thinks im not actually restricted *knock on wood* precruise is slave labor -_-

4:16pm: finals suck!
this weekend, i saw bobert, who has just gotten back from boot camp, very glad to see he's still alive =) . i failed the stcw test, so i have to take it again, i think i did ok on the ecology test, i KNOW i bombed the physics test, and i still have a week to go. wahhh

12:41pm: well this has been an intresting week- a period of high highs and low lows. on monday, we got lib for doing the band thing on sunday, we ate at fiddlers then we went to this sleazy dive to drink. i had about 4 apple martinis and was fine untill about 2 hours later, when i started throwing up. apparantly iwas throwing up so much everyone got worried and they sent me to the hospital. AGAIN. my parents yelled at me. that was monday. tuesday i lay on the floor throwing up and being sick. wensday me and annaliese had a large fight, and i was upset all day, but we made up at night and everything was ok. thursday i woke up at 4 so we could go greet the QM2. we played the same songs a dozen times, it was cold and i was starving. hanneman took us to breakfast afterwards and i was freeking out because i hadto be back for cel nav. we were though. i then took my math test (which sucked), then took the STCW test, which convinced me celestial is the DEVIL, then had watch from balls to 4 with a bunch of annoying people running around. today we learned about mercury in enviro chem, which made me not want to eat fish EVER AGAIN, then i went to the bbq in the quad. and that was my week.

2:08pm: weird dreams
dream 1 - my mom told me not to be mad and handed me a assortmant of pills she found in kaylas room. I freaked out and screaming "you want pills?" chucked them at kayla. she said she was gonna destroy herself anyway she wanted and she wasnt sorry. I took her money so she couldnt buy more drugs. she told me she was a hooker and she earned that money and she didnt care how much of a slut she was, it was her money.
dream 2 - i was on a boxlike tallship looking for secrets, eating mangos and drinking rum (which the captain didnt like) we were chased by the dead, we were shooting the ones who got in, but the ship got stuck in seaweed and they boarded us. the other captain went up to me and saying what do we have here?, crushed my ribcage and tore out my heart.
dream3 - i was at a temple with hallucinogenic colors and sounds and priestesses. the oracle would tell you hidden things about your life if you paid coins or mistletoe, but DONT smoke ciggarettes or youll be possessed, i gave change and a ciggarette, but the oracledidnt tell me anything

6:14pm: pittsburgh was fun. very hilly. i had my first rudimentry driving lesson, which was fun. i rode up a mountain on a tram, and tromped through the woods, and tons of other things. id elaborate but i didnt get any of my work done so i need to start.

3:27pm: happy passover!
got up for crew today, but it was nasty out so we all went back to sleep. formation was cold. the enviornmental chem test isnt due till after easter yay! the physics testwent ok *crosses finger*

7:08pm: today went ok. i only coxed a heat but we got 1st in that.. getting up at 5 in the morning sucks. stephanie, the new coxswain, is so sweet! she got everyone candy and stuff =)

6:25am: so the captain didnt show up. however, the girls 4 went out. i was about to take a mixed 8 out but roller actually talked sense for once and everyone went running instead. i didnt. i wasnt about to run with no bra on. it hurts.

5:36am: grrrrr. i hate mornings. hopefully todays practice wont be like yesterday. yesterday we stood in therain for 1/2hr then we wentoutin the pouring rain. it was very cold. andmykeyboard is sticky(at least the space bar is)

10:35pm: cel nav went ok, math SUCKED. mad mad house was cool, kinda gives us witches abad name sorta. need to go to sleep....

8:31pm: i think i might do ok on the cel nav tommorow. math i dunno... gotta go study. my cell phone works yay!

6:23am: well the good news is i found my cell phone. the bad news is i got a reallly bad grade on that math test, i havent finished my cel nav labs, i have 2 very hard tests tommorow. i got up this morning to go to crew, the coach didnt show up and we ended up standing in the rain for 45 minutes untill i got fed up and left. i have a class at 8 and a stupid big brother breakfast to go to in `1/2 hour. bleh....

7:36am: blah
well the last 24 hours have more or less sucked. up untill this morning, my period was later than usual so i was worried. i cant find my cell phone and i think ive lost it. i spent this morning getting yelled at in crew., i ran over the same buoy twice and i ran the bow into the dock! the shell was ok tho, and i have math and gymnastics today, and a meeting with the cheif mate for reg activity. today is gonna suck. o and i got a 51 on my ecology test.

12:30pm: the weekend was nice. joe came home with me, we went to the farmers market on saturday and ate lunch at tofu on sunday. we rented Suspiria and FREAKS and watched them. both were good even though i didnt like what dante argento had to say
about witches ^_^
